JOBS BOOST WELCOMED BY NASH

Local Labour TD Ged Nash has welcomed the announcement of 100 new positions in BD.
He said;
“This is a real vote of confidence in Drogheda.
“The US firm has been here since 1964 and has been a real success story thanks to the hard work and commitment of the thousands of local workers who have worked in the plant over the last 56 years.
“One of the striking features of BD is the fact that generations of the same family have worked and in some cases still work in the Donore Road facility.
“BD’s commitment to our town is very welcome and I hope that the firm will continue to invest and grow its workforce and imprint in Drogheda in the coming years.”
